Character history: Soubi was taken into the Shichisei Gakuen a a very young age to be trained as a Fighter unit, preparing himself to someday be part of a team of Fighter and Sacrifice. His teacher was a strict man who put Soubi through rather harsh training in order to produce a Fighter without any weaknesses. Because of this training Soubi did become one of the strongest Fighters produced by the school, but Soubi's mind was warped as well so that he no longer considered himself human and more of an object to be used by another.
This was furthered when he was given to Seimei who treated him as a pet or slave and often abused Soubi in mental and physical ways. Even though Soubi doesn't enjoy pain, he sees it as a form of affection and would always obey Seimei no matter what orders he was given or how he was injured.
When Seimei was found murdered at Ritsuka's school Soubi was crushed and lost focus for a long time until he remembered Seimei's order that should Seimei die then Soubi was to become his younger brother's property. Soubi tracked down Ritsuka in hopes that the younger brother would give him a reason to live again rather than exist through each day out of habit.
When Soubi first met Ritsuka he wasn't sure what kind of person the boy was and tried to grow closer to his new master, but was soon confused because Ritsuka's behavior was nothing like Seimei and what he'd come to expect. Ritsuka refused to hurt Soubi at all and gave conflicting orders while openly showing emotion and confusion at Soubi's presence, which in turn made Soubi confused and falter in his mechanical actions and Soubi actually found himself drawn to Ritsuka to the point of obsessing over the young boy and sometimes stalking him.
Character personality: Soubi was trained to be very reserved and to not show when he was confused or in pain, but even though he seeks pain and punishment for attention he dislikes the fact that he does so and would rather not be hurt. He despises things he considers weak and beautiful because they are often things that are destroyed easily. Throughout his life he's always been told what to do and finds it easier to simply follow orders and fate rather than to find his own way, which brings him to despise himself. He is often confused by his feelings for Ritsuka and Ritsuka's actions towards him but it also makes him yearn to be with the boy even more.
Physical description: Soubi is rather tall and lanky with ash-blond hair reaching to the base of his shoulder blades, and his eyes are gray-blue. He has a number of scars across his body from his training as well as Seimei's attentions, the most obvious are the scars around his neck resembling barbed wire and the word BELOVED which Soubi hides under a turtleneck or with bandages. He also wears glasses most of the time though he'll take them off to fight seriously.
Magical powers or special skills: Soubi is a Fighter unit and can influence others with specific words even if they aren't a Fighter or Sacrifice. When battling other teams Soubi creates spells out of words and word combinations to attack or defend himself and his Sacrifice. Soubi will not back down or surrender during a battle until the other team is defeated or unless he has a reason not to fight, in which case he will find a way to send the other team elsewhere and postpone the confrontation.

Hisoka: Hisoka's mindspeach made Soubi think the kid was either a Sentouki or Sacrifice at first, but then he found out that Hisoka's really a shinigami. He knew Hisoka used to be partners with Tsuzuki and it's confusing for Soubi to watch the two become distant from each other but since both of them seem fine with that, Soubi won't do anything about it. Hisoka has been helpful in explaining some of the differences between a Named Pairing and a normal relationship, but since Hisoka seemed to lack understanding over some things Soubi suspects Hisoka may have been separated from 'normal' people due to his abilities much like Soubi was.
Overall, Soubi thinks Hisoka is an odd kid but since Hisoka seems to care about him and Ritsuka, Soubi feels free to associate with Hisoka as a 'safe' person. Especially since Hisoka hasn't made any moves to become too friendly with Ritsuka. XD

Sebastian: They shared a cell for one night. Soubi thinks there's something odd about Sebastian, but otherwise they share a preference for taking showers with soap. Since Sebastian seems to be some other kid's servant, Soubi believes that Sebastian wouldn't threaten himself or Ritsuka without reason or a command, but Soubi won't rule out exceptions or changes in that at some future point. Sebastian remains an unknown factor to stay wary of.

Dietrich: Traded comments over the journals once. Soubi thinks Dietrich is observant, intelligent, and some of their speculations were similar. Therefore, Dietrich is considered dangerous.

Nana: Met briefly in the elevator and observed her during kitchen duty once. Due to some of her comments he thinks she's either sick or pregnant. Nana is ignorable since she's as normal as one can get in the prison, and thus not a threat.
